The Club was founded in 1994 for employees of the Filton based British Aerospace/Rolls Royce companies. It has over 50 members, attracting some through its affiliation with BAWA. To date 26 members have attained their Private Pilots Licence (PPL) and a further 20 have added additional qualifications to their licence. Members of the Club have flown to Ireland, France, Channel Islands and Germany.

The Club arranges a Club night at the BAWA on the first Wednesday of the month. Social activities arranged in the past have included, BBQ's Quiz nights, talks and visits. There is also a monthly fly-out.
